Adam Pervez is a traveler, writer, and entrepreneur who has made a habit as asking “why not” and seeing where it leads. Inevitably it always leads somewhere great!
With degrees in electrical engineering and an MBA and a past as varied as working on oil rigs in the Persian Gulf and coordinating supply chain activities for a major wind power manufacturer in Denmark, he now concerns himself with what he considers the most important thing in life: happiness.
Embarking on what he calls “The Happy Nomad Tour” in 2011, he has been volunteering his way around the world learning about culture, humanity, and happiness. In his first two years he spent less than $800 on accommodation, staying on local families’ couches and accepting every offer of generosity that came his way – and there were many. Over 70 countries and thousands of enriching experiences later, his enthusiasm to continue exploring only grows with each passing day.
Adam learned how to cultivate happiness from within himself and has become an expert in experimenting with happiness. He provides consulting services to individuals and companies looking to measure and improve their happiness.
